- 9. Project Description/Overview
- • Construction of a gravity sewer and lift station system along South Road to provide domestic sewer service for approximately 400 plant personnel to serve potential tenant facilities in the vicinity of South Road. The system would consist of approximately 6,200 l.f. of gravity sewer, 4,700 l.f. of force main, and a 135 gpm duplex lift station. • Capacity and Upgrade Study for the existing sewer system at Port Bienville. Portions of this system have been in service since the inception of the port in the 1960' s. This study will encompass an assessment of the condition and capacity of the existing sewer system and the viability of the proposed expansion along South Road. This will be accomplished by collecting record data on the system, performing visual inspections of the various components of the system to document physical conditions, developing a hydraulic model of the system to assess existing capacity, and determining potential future loadings associated with undeveloped tracts at the port. • Immediate repairs to elements of the existing sewer system which are identified during the Capacity and Upgrade Study.
